Trip Report - Oh Pills from Club13.com
by The Damitio ~ June 6th, 2008
Here is a quick review of my experience with the oh pills. I had been out with some friends night before last and didn’t end up getting a lot of sleep so yesterday I was a bit sleepy and a bit grumpy. There was road work going on outside my place that wasn’t contributing to my mood in a good way and was keeping me from napping. I saw the oh! pills on the counter and realized I didn’t have much else going on for the day and so I took them. Actually, I took one, waited an hour and then took the second one. Over the course of that first hour, I didn’t feel much, but I did notice that I became a little less tired and a little less grumpy. Not long after taking the second pill, I developed the sensation that I call helmet. Helmet is that tingly feeling you get on your scalp that feels a little like there is something on your head- like a helmet. Shortly after that I was outside lying in my hammock and found myself amazed by the bright colors, my skin had a real tingly sensation that was totally pleasant, and I had an overwhelming urge to giggle at how great everything suddenly seemed. I read for a while but found that just lying in the hammock and looking at stuff was much more enjoyable.
I was listening to Miles Davis and Charles Mingus and really getting into the surprise quality of their music. Spoken word by Miles had some interesting punctuation to it. Very nice.
Had to go to the bank so i grabbed my ipod, put on some REM and rode my bike through campus. I am not ashamed to admit that every woman I saw looked slightly more beautiful than the last. This peaked out in the bank when three girls of amazing shape and smell stood behind me in line. Wow.
Next I met my friend Brooke at the East West Center. She was a little late so I got to check out an exhibit of contemproary Pakistani Art while I was there. Needless to say the colors and ideas in the pictures were better than I think they might actually be if that makes any sense, but I’m pretty sure they were good.
Then it was to Palolo where a bunch of us worked together to catch the bunches of lychee in a tarp as our friend Dark cut them down. I was glad no one asked me to climb the tree and I have to admit that rolling without anyone else knowing was pretty fun. I was supposed to do a thing with snorkeling in coral that night so we left before everyone else and I helped Brook pick out some beer at Tamuras, the variety was mind boggling.
Then, the coral thingy didn’t happen and I started to feel pretty mellow and tired anyway so I laid down on my couch grooving to some Jimmy Hendrix and before I knew it, I was sound asleep. Woke at midnight and crawled into my bed. Had great dreams, slept like a baby. Woke up feeling fresh as a daisy.
Overall trip quality: Nice. No side effects or hangover that I noticed. Easy to deal with people but definitely wouldn’t recommend using motor vehicles or machines more complex than a bicycle. Body high was nice. I say, get some of these and enjoy them with someone you love, even if you only love yourself.
